Step 1 - Activate two factor authentication for all users

In this step you will activate two factor authentication for your tenant.

  • Navigate to your Tenant Edit Page .

  • Click on Security tab.

  • Check Two factor authentication required.

  • Click Save.


Step 2 - Avoid multiple two factor authentication

Some Account Providers can be configured outside The Identity Hub to require two factor authentication when user signs in.
If this happens with your tenant configured as described in Step 1, the user will have to perform multiple two factor authentication.
In this step you will disable two factor authentication at tenant level for a given Account Provider.

  • Navigate to the Account Providers Admin Page.

  • Edit the Account Provider that already requires two factor authentication outside The Identity Hub.

  • Check Performs two factor authentication.

  • Click Save.
