StackExchange Account Provider
To allow users to sign in with StackExchange:
- Set up and configure an App on StackExchange API
- Activate the StackExchange Account Provider (see Activate an Account Provider)
- Set the configuration parameters on the StackExchange Account Provider
Configure a StackExchange App
- From the StackExchange API, log in with your StackExchange account.
- In the Application Name type a unique name for your App.
- In the Description type "The Identity Hub Account Provider"
- In the OAuth Domain type theidentityhub.com
- In the Application Website enter the URL of your company or https://www.theidentityhub.com
- Click Register Your Application
- Make a note of the Client Id and the Client Secret
Specific configuration parameters for the StackExchange Account Provider
| Parameter | Description |

| Client Id | The client id of the StackExchange App created on the StackExchange API. (see Configure a StackExchange App) |
| Client Secret | The client secret of the StackExchange App created on the StackExchange API. (see Configure a StackExchange App) |
| Key | The Key of the StackExchange App created on the StackExchange API. (see Configure a StackExchange App) |
| Site | The StackExchange site to retrieve the user info from. (see Configure a StackExchange App) |
| Default Scopes | The scopes that The Identity Hub will request when a user signs in. (see Default Scopes) |
| Scopes | Additional scopes that you want to be requested. Currently this has no further implication. |
Default Scopes

Optional scopes can be unchecked. Information related to this scopes will not be available to The Identity Hub.
